Serbian alpinists continue scaling the highest peaks of the world
Belgrade/Prijepolje, May 08. 2010 (Serbia today) -Dragan Petric and Elijah Andrejic, alpinists from Prijepolje, continued their goal - "Climbing the seven highest peaks on the planet." They travel to the next mountain range Denali on 12th May. Expedition "Denali 2010" is also composed of the following: Miroslav Kurkich, then alpinistkinja Neda Milosevic, Drasko Markovic, and mountaineer cameraman Srboljub Dobrosavljevic. The team is half way to conquering all seven peaks, having already scaled Mont Blanc and Elbrus), Asia (roof of the world Mount Everest) and southern America (Aconcagua, which was won twice). Next in the series is Denali (also known as McKinley), the highest peak of America. Denali is in Alaska and has a peak of 6194 meters. Organizers are Mountaineering Association of Serbia and society "Kamena Gora" from Prijepolje. It is expected to reach the Denalija between 30 May and 4 June, depending on weather conditions.
