Ten journalism students and young professionals learned research and reporting techniques for economic, business, and finance stories. The participants, working with resources and professionals from Key Connection Media, developed 12 television features about corporate social responsibility on topics such as corporate-sponsored scholarships and food bank donations. The features were broadcast primetime on Studio B.
The Ambassador presented certificates to the young reporters stressing that a free press leads to a free economy, and she expressed hope that professional journalists will continue to play an essential role in Serbia’s economic transformation. Asked about her first impressions of Belgrade and Serbia, Ambassador Warlick praised the warmth and hospitality of Belgraders and the Serbian people. “I look forward to exploring more of your country and meeting your people,” Warlick concluded.
