Belgrade, March, 27. 2010 (Source: Tanjug) - The Serbian government should discuss the sale of 40 percent of state-owned shares of the telecommunications public company Telekom Srbija today. The government is also expected to adopt a package of measure regarding subsidized dinar loans for Serbia's citizens as it meets in Belgrade this Friday.
Prime Minister Mirko Cvetković yesterday stated that now is the right time to sell Telekom, given that new landline and mobile service providers have created competition, and expressed expectation that the transaction will be realized by the end of 2010.
